Iron deficiency is a common condition affecting up to 25% of pregnant people. In some cases, oral supplementation (tablets or liquids) are ineffective, not tolerated or iron needs to be replenished quickly. IV iron infusions are a safe and effective way to correct iron deficiency and iron deficiency anaemia.
